Tulie Bakery in Salt Lake City, Utah

Wherever I go, one of the first things I search for is a delicious bakery. After all, a buttery, flaky croissant is one of my all-time favorite foods, ever. After doing some browsing on Instagram, I stumbled upon Tulie Bakery, as recommended by Female Foodie. In fact, she named it her *favorite* bakery in all of SLC! I was convinced.tulieBakery ©Cultural Chromatics-1

It’s a cute little spot, perfect for enjoying a warm cup of coffee and pastries while it’s snowing outside. Small, but super cozy. I can see how it can get really packed on a nice day. Fortunately, we roll deep and between the four of us, we were able to sample a good part of the bakery’s offerings.

We got the lemon tart, morning bun, chocolate brioche, avocado toast, and croque madame. To be honest, I could’ve ordered more, but we were going to have waffles and then lunch afterwards, so I held back.

The morning bun and chocolate brioche were by far my favorites. The chocolate brioche had a nice, crisp exterior with a melty, chocolate heart. YUM. The morning roll had crispy, flaky layers and a cinnamon roll-like inside with a hint of citrus. For some of the other girls, the lemon tart was number 1 in their book.

I also left with a bag of gingerbread cookies and homemade graham crackers to take home. I would highly recommend you doing the same. It was a smash hit. Both cookies were fantastic, and everyone at home loved them. The graham crackers are a must-try!
