Foodie Friday: JD Honey Whiskey Lychee Iced Tea

Looking for an easy way to jazz up your iced tea? Then this drink is for you! I was having lunch at The House the other day and came across this drink on their menu that I decided to recreate with a slight twist – Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey. This drink is SUPER easy and only takes minutes.

Ingredients: Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey, Water, 1 can of Lychee, Black Tea Bags (your choice)

Bring one pot of water to a boil and add in tea bags. 1 tea bag to every cup of water. Let the tea bags steep for about 8-10 minutes. Add in ice to cool or put it into the fridge or freezer depending on how much time you have. (You can always buy iced tea as well if you are low on time.) Once the tea is cold, pour the tea into a pint glass with about an inch on top for the lychee. Put in 3-4 lychees along with 3-4 tablespoons of the syrup from the can. You can always add in more syrup if you prefer the drink to be a little sweeter. Pour in 1 shot of Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey and you’re good to go!
